I. THE SCRIPTURES
We believe in the verbal, plenary (full, entire, complete) inspiration of the Bible, which is the Word of God, and that in its truthfulness and completeness it is the only criterion, and authority of both church and individual for faith and practice. (2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 17:17)
We believe that there is one God eternally existing, manifesting Himself to us in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 10:30; John 14:10, 26)
III. THE PERSON AND WORK OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on the cross for our sins; His bodily resurrection from the grave; His ascension to the right hand of God, where he ever liveth to make intercession for believers; and His personal, visible, imminent, and pre-tribulation, pre-millennial return to the earth at the end of this age. (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-4; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 3:24-25; 8:34; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-8; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Hebrews 7:24; 9:24; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 2:1-2)
IV. THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is very God, possessed of all the distinctive Divine attributes. We believe that he is the Administrator of the things of God concerning sin, revealing truth, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, and indwelling and sealing believers until the day of redemption. (John 16:8-14; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Ephesians 1:13-14; 5:18; 1 John 2:20)
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan; that he is a created being, once known as "Lucifer" and the “anointed cherub that covereth”; that through pride he fell; that he is the “god of this world” and the “prince of the power of the air”; that the judgment has already passed on him will be executed at the Revelation of Jesus Christ; and that ultimately he will be cast into the lake of fire. (Job 1:6-7; Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-16; Matthew 4:2-11; 25:41; John 10:31-33; Revelation 12:7-12; 20:1-10)
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ; that it is the all-inclusive Word of the Holy Scriptures. We believe that it is wholly apart from human merit; that every individual is a sinner by birth; and that all accountable human beings are sinners by practice and choice, and therefore must exercise personal faith in the redeeming work of Christ on Calvary and receive Him as Savior in order to be saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 3:23; Romans 10:9-10)
We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39; 1 Corinthians 1:4-8)
We believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in full assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God’s Word, but that the same Word clearly forbids the use of our liberty as an occasion to the flesh. (Romans 13:13-14; Galatians 5:13-17; Titus 2:11-15 )
VII. THE CHURCH
We believe that the local church, which is the body and espoused bride of Christ, is soley made up of born-again persons (1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:25-27). We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures. We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external human authority or control (Acts 13:1-4; 15:19-31; 20:28; 1 Corinthians 3:9). We recognize water baptism and The Lord's Supper as the scriptural ordinances of obedience for the church in this age (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41; 8:35-38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). We believe that the offices of the church are Pastor and deacon (1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9).
VIII. SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE
We believe in the absolute separation of church and state. (Matthew 22:21)
IX. PERSONAL SEPARATION
We believe that all “who name the name of Christ” as their Savior should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon His name. We believe also that separation from all religious apostasy, as well as worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded by Him. (Romans 12:1-2; Romans 13:13-14; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 2 Timothy 3:1-5;1 John 2:15-17; 2 John 9:11)
X. CIVIL GOVERNMENTS
We believe that God has ordained and created all authority consisting of three institutions: the home, the church, and the state. Every person is subject to these authorities, but all (including the authorities themselves) are answerable to God and governed by His Word. God has given each institution specific Biblical responsibilities and balanced those responsbilities with the understanding that no institution had the right to infringe upon the other. The home, the church, and the state are equal and sovereign in their respective Biblically assigned spheres of responsibility under God (Romans 13:1-7; Titus 3:1; Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 2:13-14, 17).
XI. THE LORD’S RETURN
We believe in that "blessed hope," the bodily, personal, imminent, premillennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ; that He will come before the Great Tribulation to catch away His bride, the Church; that all who are His shall then be caught up to meet Him in the air; that at the end of the tribulation, he will come with His Church to the earth to judge the living nations and set up His kingdom(Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 19:11-21).
We believe that God created the universe in six literal, 24-hour periods. We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin (Genesis 1-2; Exodus 20:11).
We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ, we must use all available means to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-48; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:20).
We believe that every Christian, as a steward of that portion of God's wealth entrusted to him, is obligated to support his local church financially. We believe that God has established the tithe as a basis for giving, but that every Christian should also give other offerings sacrifically and cheerfully to the support of the church, the relief of those in need, and the spreading of the Gospel (Proverbs 3:9-10; Malachi 3:7-10; Matthew 23:23; Luke 18:12; Acts 4:34-37; 1 Corinthians 16:2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; 1 John 3:17).
